The software has been created as universal software for security hybrid platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the software via network that security workstation can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition considerably increases reliability because all components work as independent applications. If one unit fails, other modules go on running. For instance if the `capture` part freezes, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` part. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on apart station through Web interface. The software makes synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
